Community Guidelines

Best Tailgate is for the people who make game day worth showing up for. Talk trash about the other team. Don't be cruel to actual people. Bring your own designs, not somebody else's logo. That's most of it.

These Guidelines are part of our Terms of Service. Breaking them can cost you your content, your storefront, or your account.

Rivalry is the point. Trash talk, chirping, bold predictions, and merciless jokes about a rival's season — all fair game. That's tailgating.

Harassment is not. Don't target a person with abuse, pile on, follow someone around the platform, or organize others to do it. There's a difference between "your quarterback is a turnover machine" and going after a real human being.

No hate. No attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, age, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation. No slurs, no hate symbols, no dog whistles. This isn't about being polite — it's a hard line.

No threats or violence. Don't threaten anyone, celebrate violence against anyone, or encourage anyone to hurt themselves. If you're struggling, please reach out to someone — in the U.S. you can call or text 988 any time.

Nothing illegal. No selling drugs, weapons, stolen goods, or counterfeits. No fraud.

Zero tolerance for content that sexualizes minors. We remove it, terminate the account, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and law enforcement. No exceptions, no appeals.

No pornography or sexually explicit content. Keep it to what you'd be comfortable with in a stadium parking lot on a Saturday morning with somebody's kids around.

No doxxing. Don't post anyone's home address, phone number, workplace, financial details, or other private information without their permission. Don't post screenshots of private conversations to target someone.

No spam or scams. No bulk unsolicited posting, no engagement farming, no fake storefronts, no phishing, no "send me a tip and I'll send you a thing" schemes off-platform.

No betting. Don't use Best Tailgate to run, promote, or facilitate sports betting, pools, or wagering. Talking about the spread is fine; taking action is not.

Post what's yours. Only upload photos, video, and artwork you created or have permission to use.

Original tailgate branding only. No team logos, team or league names, university marks, mascots, or anyone else's trademarked or copyrighted material on products. This is the rule that gets storefronts shut down most often — please take it seriously. Details in our DMCA & IP Policy, and you can report a violation at /report-ip.

Photos of people. Tailgates are crowded and cameras are everywhere. Be reasonable: don't post photos designed to embarrass someone, and if someone asks you to take their photo down, take it down. We may remove photos on request from the person pictured.

Your tailgate, your responsibility. If you host, you're responsible for your page and for the crew you invite. What happens in the lot is between you, your guests, and the venue — Best Tailgate doesn't organize, supervise, or insure any gathering.

Follow the venue's rules and the law. Ours don't replace them.

If you run a storefront: describe your products honestly, use accurate images, price fairly, and don't promise what you can't deliver. Fulfillment and returns follow our Returns & Policies. You must be 18 or older to sell — see the creator terms in our Terms of Service.

Objectionable content gets no warning. Hate, harassment, threats, sexually explicit content and anything sexualizing minors are removed, and so is the account of the person who posted them. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.

For everything else we'd rather coach than punish. Depending on what happened and whether it's a pattern, we may:

1. Remove the content;
2. Warn you and explain what crossed the line;
3. Suspend your account, storefront, or ability to earn;
4. Terminate your account.

We skip straight to termination for content sexualizing minors, credible threats of violence, coordinated harassment, and serious or repeated fraud. Intellectual property violations follow the strike system in our DMCA & IP Policy.

We review every report within 24 hours. When the content breaks these Guidelines, we remove it and remove the account of the person who posted it.
